I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix 5—Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle Model
The waterfall model is the classic model of software engineering. It is a sequential design process, in which progress is seen as flowing constantly downward through the phases of Analysis, Design, Implantation, Testing, and Maintenance. Due to its characteristic feature of detailed initial planning in the early stages, it catches design flaws before they develop. For projects where quality control is a major concern, this model works due to detailed documentation and planning activities. In Royce’s original waterfall model, the following phases are in order:
1. Requirements Analysis
2. Design Development
3. Implementation or Coding
4. Product Integration
5. Verification
6. Release/Deployment ...
