Usually, we know the right thing to do (using our moral compass), and frequently, we know how to do the right thing (using our moral competencies). What then stops us from doing what we know is right? Moral challenges usually provoke highly charged emotions. How can we manage our emotions in a positive way? This chapter explores how our emotional intelligence competencies can help us reinforce our moral intelligence.
