15.2. Leverage Existing Authentication
Companies typically have one or more authentication sources available for users. The most common of these sources include Active Directory, LDAP, and RADIUS. To speed up your deployment, you can leverage your network's existing authentication, instead of creating a new authentication service.
Here are some of the users that you may want to authenticate:
Guest users
Corporate users
Contractors
Devices
If your authentication source is missing necessary access control information, such as groups, you can more easily add that role or group information to what you have than create an entirely new infrastructure.
