So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

edition
When the second edition went to press just over two years ago
it seemed that there was little scope for a further edition for
some considerable time. Yet since then there have been a
number of developments and areas of growing interest in the
audio field which need to be covered.
The Sony Mini Disc has arrived employing magneto-
optical technology that is totally new to audio, although used in
computer data storage. Information on this has therefore been
added to the CD section.
