RETIREMENT, DREADED BY many in our society, brought for me and Barbara fresh adventures, the recapture of the deed to our own time, and an even closer relationship. We not only had more time to spend together, but at her suggestion we started a new business together: Bridge Works Publishing Company, an independent book publisher.
