Writing a book and climbing a mountain have a lot in common. They both involve research and a ton of preparation, followed by the long, arduous task of writing, rewriting, correcting, and rewriting again. The entire process is exhausting, at least for me. I have come to the conclusion that writing a book is harder than climbing a mountain.
Just as mountains cannot be climbed alone, this endeavor would never have been completed without the help of my climbing team. First, my wife and three kids have been a constant source of support.
