VBA's method of storing dates and times as floating-point numbers offers several advantages, such as making it easy to calculate intervals. VBA provides a rich set of functions for converting dates and times between this numerical representation and the common formats we are used to working with. Given the importance of dates and times in many custom Office applications, you'll probably find yourself making use of these capabilities on a regular basis.
