Your core premise is one of the most important parts of your presentation. It forms the backbone of the message you will build throughout your presentation. In reviewing thousands of presentations over the years, I rarely see people have a clear core premise within their presentation. This leads to confusion, overwhelm, and a lack of results. I don't want this to be the experience that you have, so let's get this sorted for you.
Think of your core premise as the single most important belief that you must transfer to the audience for them to want to work with you. It is the through-line that links your presentation to your offer. To show you the importance of this, I remember a student of mine, Tiyana, who came to me at a level where she had already established some success in her business.
She had built a business where she was running webinars producing around $30,000 in revenue per presentation, but she knew she had something bigger and deeper within her. Her feedback to me was that discovering her core premise gave her a clarity and confidence to market the business like never before.
