XML Database Repository
Oracle XML Database (XML DB) Repository is a queryable, hierarchically organized file system in the Oracle database. This repository is ideal for storing unstructured content, including both XML and non-XML files.
In this chapter, we learn the basics of Oracle XML DB Repository. We first explore how to store files in XML DB Repository by creating, updating, and managing XML DB Repository resources (folder or files). Then, we discuss how to query and access XML DB Repository content through SQL, Java, and Internet protocols. We conclude by using XML DB Repository events.
