To query XML DB Repository in SQL, we need to clarify the two key elements in XML DB Repository—resource and path:
Resource Each document or folder in XML DB Repository is represented as a resource. A resource normally includes a resource name, a description, and the resource content. A file resource can be XML or non-XML documents, or even XML views. The XML resources are stored in XMLTypes. Non-XML resources are stored in BLOB. You can find a more detailed description of the XML DB resources in the /sys/schemas/PUBLIC/xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/XDBResource.xsd file.
