Chapter 3, presents an overview of Oracle’s various parallel execution features (parallel query, parallel DML and DDL, parallel data loading, parallel recovery, and parallel replication propagation).
Chapter 4, describes specifically how to invoke and use the Oracle parallel execution features introduced in Chapter 3.
Chapter 5, explains how you can get the best performance out of Oracle’s parallel execution features.
