Platforms and Versions of Oracle
Most of the examples described in this book were developed on a Windows NT operating system; however, SQL scripts are very portable, and most of them will run as is on UNIX and other operating systems.
Most of the scripts also work with most versions of Oracle, from Oracle 7.x (and, in many cases, earlier) through Oracle 8.0.4 (and beyond).
