It describes files and database objects of special significance to Oracle security, and it examines the use of the Oracle data dictionary from a security perspective. It also describes the most important Oracle security concepts you’ll need to be aware of as you implement security in your own system — privileges, views, default roles and user accounts, profiles, passwords, and synonyms.
