Once you implement Streams replication in your environment, maintaining it and troubleshooting any problems is the next challenge. Implementing structural changes to the objects involved in replication requires careful planning and execution, particularly the decision of whether or not to replicate DDL.
Maintaining existing Streams replication involves tasks such as adding and removing replicated objects or destinations. You may also need to remove the entire Streams configuration, or only part of the configuration if multiple Streams processes were defined in the database.
