Inclusion is a touchy topic. We ignore it at our own peril. Diversity challenges can be about embracing protected classes that have a history of exclusion such as the disabled, blacks, and women. But they also could be about embracing an extravert in an office of introverts, a Caucasian in an office of Asians, or a man in an office of women. I face an inclusion challenge when I speak to special groups like the Better Hearing Colorado Association when I am the only person without a hearing disability.
