It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 4. Charts and Graphs with GD::Graph
GD::Graph is a Perl module that expands on the capabilities of GD by offering an API for creating graphs and charts. For a long time, almost all the financial graphs or web server load graphs that you could find on the Web were generated by this module. GD::Graph started life as GIFGraph; the name changed when the module was modified to work with the later versions of GD that did not generate GIF files. This chapter illustrates various ways of working with GD::Graph and GD to produce charts and graphs with lines, bars, points, pies, and more.
