Why It's Worth a Photograph

The California Palace of the Legion of Honor, San Francisco's most beautiful museum, displays an impressive collection of 4,000 years of ancient and European art. The beautiful Beaux-Arts museum is a three-quarter scale adaptation of the eighteenth century Palais de Legion d'Honneur in Paris. Built to honor the California soldiers who died in France during World War I, the museum is located inside Lincoln Park in San Francisco. The museum is perched atop the cliffs of Lands End; this location overlooks the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco. The wonderful architecture combined with the scenic views makes this an ideal place for you to photograph.
