So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
Find out the size of your database (using the How much disk space does a database use? recipe in Chapter 2, Exploring the Database). If the database is large or you have an important requirement for availability, you should consider making the major upgrade using replication tools as well. Then, check out the next recipe.
