So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Gestalt is a German word meaning form or shape, and it refers to theories that explore human perception and behavior. Though gestalt originated in the field of psychology, the theories presented are equally important in visual communication, as they explain how the brain perceives the messages and images around us as a whole system.
