The first part of this chapter deals with the use and misuse of audio and video in web sites. The chapter then provides instructions for embedding an audio clip into a web page and for recording a speech clip. The current file formats for video are mentioned briefly and this is followed by information about the HTML5 <video> tag, the files that it uses, and instructions for embedding video clips into an HTML5 web page.
