Planning Social Computing
Everybody gets so much information all day long that they lose their common sense.
Knowledge in an organization centers around people, the organization’s people who possess the expertise or who can reference the information somewhere on the network. But if one is not the expert, how can he or she discover and access this knowledge? In this chapter, I provide an overview of the social computing capabilities in SharePoint, including how to deploy a people search and how to manage the My Site features.
