I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In der Kalligraphie ist das Kombinieren verschiedener Schriftgattungen ein ästhetischer und künstlerischer Aspekt, um Worte hervorzuheben, ihnen eine besondere Bedeutung zu schenken und das Auge des Betrachters zu lenken.
Bereits in der Antike hat man Schriftstücke abwechselnd mit Versalschriften und Minuskelschriften verfasst. Ursprünglich wurden verschiedene Schriften miteinander kombiniert, um Hierarchien zu schaffen, Texte zu gliedern und zu strukturieren. Im Mittelalter wurden die gebrochenen Schriften verbunden mit Kombinationen von aufwendig gezeichneten und zumeist vergoldeten Initialen kultiviert.
