I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
9.4. Summary
This chapter examined how to use SharePoint Designer to create workflows that add powerful application logic to your site. It described the conditions and actions used within a workflow, and how to add user interaction. You also discovered some of the limits to workflows created with SharePoint Designer.
Other points to take from this chapter:
Workflows can modify information throughout the SharePoint site.
SharePoint Designer workflows do not have built-in looping or iteration capability.
SharePoint Designer workflows use SharePoint lists and libraries to manage their operation.
Chapter 10 tackles the Data View (also known as the Data Form) Web Part. Later chapters show how to use SharePoint Designer to bring workflows and Data Views together to create sophisticated applications — from data collection to application logic to presentation — all without programming.
