This chapter explored the Content Editor Web Part, and explained how it can be used to easily extend the power of SharePoint without writing server-side code. You saw how to use it both from the web interface and within SharePoint Designer.
The chapter also showed you that:
Content Editors allow client-side script.
IntelliSense works in Code view, even though the code is just a parameter of the Web Part.
The Script Editor allows you to test your code without first saving the page.
Chapter 14 presents the Web Part Services Component, which allows you to leverage even more of the SharePoint client-side object model from within your scripts.
