I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Avant-propos
Lorsque j'ai obtenu mon diplôme de l'UCLA au début des années 1990, je pensais devenir professeur. Mais lorsque IBM m'a embauché, je suis rapidement tombé amoureux de l'industrie technologique. Je n'ai pas pu faire marche arrière. J'ai ensuite travaillé dans d'autres entreprises comme VMware, Pivotal, EMC et SGI.
Ensuite, j'ai fondé plusieurs startups. Ma dernière en date est Aisera, qui construit des solutions d'IA générative pour les entreprises. Notre plateforme aide au service client, à l'expérience des employés, à la recherche d'entreprise, au service desk informatique et à l'AIOps.
Tout au long de ma carrière, j'ai été témoin de nombreuses innovations, comme l'émergence d'Internet, du cloud computing, des appareils mobiles et du Deep Learning. Pourtant, il y avait un domaine de la technologie qui voyait peu de progrès : le développement de logiciels.
En tant que fondateur, c'était certainement une grande frustration. Il y aurait souvent certaines choses que nous voulions faire mais que nous ne pouvions pas faire à cause des goulots d'étranglement avec nos équipes d'ingénieurs. Mais avec la programmation assistée par l'IA, la donne a changé du tout au tout. Elle a permis à Agile de gagner en agilité et en souplesse. Cela a été un multiplicateur de force qui a contribué à propulser notre croissance.
