About the Author
Dr. Yuri Raydugin is Principal Consultant of Risk Services & Solutions Inc., a Canadian consulting company. He has an engineering degree in nuclear physics from Urals Polytechnics Institute, Russia, a Ph.D. in physics and mathematics from Russia’s Academy of Sciences, and an MBA in business strategy from Henley Management College in England. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
Before establishing his consultancy business Yuri worked for TransCanada Pipelines and Royal Dutch Shell managing risks of several major and mega-capital projects. Currently he works with a number of major oil and gas and engineering companies as a project risk management consultant.
Yuri is the author of several articles on project risk management as well as on various aspects of physics. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Risk and Contingency Management (IJRCM) and a reviewer of risk management publications for the International Journal of Project Management (IJPM).
Born and raised in Ekaterinburg, Russia, Yuri lives with his wife, Irina, and sons, Eugene and Roman, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
