Nous avons vu dans le chapitre précédent que l’interpréteur Python offrait dès le départ tout un ensemble de structures de données. Les librairies complémentaires telles que NumPy viennent en augmenter les possibilités de façon phénoménale. Nous nous concentrons dans ce chapitre sur cette librairie NumPy. Elle permet d’exploiter des objets de type tableau à plusieurs dimensions dans lesquels vous pouvez stocker des données simples et des tableaux de données de types différents. Elle supporte la vectorisation du code.
Nous allons découvrir deux variantes de cette structure de données :
