It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

この本の初版＊1は、2012年に発行されました。当時は、pandasのようなオープンソースのPython向けデータ分析ライブラリは、まだ目新しいものであり、急速に発展している最中でした。2016年や2017年頃の第2版のとき＊2には、Python 3.6を使うように修正する必要がありましたし（初版ではPython 2.7を使用）、それまでの5年間でpandasには多くの変更が行われていました。現在、2022年では、Pythonの変更はそれほど多くありません（執筆時点ではバージョン3.10で、2022年10月に3.11がリリースされた）。しかし、pandasは進化し続けています。
