So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating Literacy
As we said, we will create a new application to extract text from images or scanned documents, hence, its name of Literacy. The first thing is to clarify what the application aims to do. The main feature is extracting text from images, but, for the convenience of users, we should provide more than one way to specify the image:
- The image may be from the local hard disk.
- The image may be captured from the screen.
With this requirement clarified, let's now design the UI.
