Summary
No modern network would be complete without a device or application serving as a firewall. A firewall monitors incoming traffic and filters out suspicious packets. Firewalls can also filter outgoing packets to impose corporate rules and restrict access to risky destinations. In this hour, you learned about some kinds of firewalls.
