Maurice never doubted that he would find a job. As a baby, he had reprogrammed his Candy Kinetic Sing-and-Stomp dance mat to play Dvorák’s New World Symphony, and ever since then, he had evidenced a singular capacity for achieving the improbable in cyberspace. But he didn’t really think he would find a job so soon after graduating.
