This hour described some common techniques for securing TCP/IP communication. You learned about symmetric and asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, and digital certificates. You also learned about the TCP/IP security protocol systems SSL and IPSec. The hour concluded with a discussion of Kerberos authentication.
