So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

So we have arrived at the final chapter, and we'll spend a while looking at how gathering news by satellite (or otherwise) is developing. While the title of this chapter infers we are looking at future developments, we also cover some developments that have already occurred and are ongoing, but that will have an impact on the way SNG may be used in the future. The topics covered are disparate, and so some developments touched on in this chapter may seem at first glance as not necessarily having a great impact on conventional SNG – but that would be complacent.
