Very simply, we’ve learned from the pandemic and turmoil that:

  1. Some existing practices will be effective in achieving our short-term vision (e.g., treating our best customers in the best manner).

  2. Some things we do must be improved to be effective in the future (e.g., technology improvement and speed of response).

  3. Some things need to be jettisoned (e.g., “feet on the street” sales and large conventions).

  4. Some things must be acquired (e.g., global customers, the ability to manage remote workers productively).
