I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

A User Interface: Police Command and Control System

Abstract
This case study is a user interface prototype of a police command and control system which will incorporate user interface development techniques in the development of a low-fidelity prototype for this system. This case study will incorporate the processes and techniques outlined in Chapter 14 on human factors and user interface design. User interface design focuses on the following key areas: the design of interfaces between different software components, the design of interfaces between the software and other nonhuman producers and consumers of information, and the design of the interface between a human and the computer.
