So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
I dedicate this Seventh Edition to my son Guy rather belatedly, since he trod his own distinctive path towards the virtual studio and can now tell me a few things about what goes on there. I guess he doesn’t really need this book – but it’s the thought that counts.
