It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Linder: Mayor Berger, what made you decide to try to save the Lima refinery?
Dave Berger: We had been suffering for a number of years in Lima. We had had our share of economic setbacks. I tend to be a person who aggressively seeks solutions. You have to go right at those things. I have been fortunate that sometimes it works.
Linder: Paul, what led you to Winston Ledet and the Manufacturing Game?
Paul Monus: I have been an operating manager most of my career, first as an engineer, then as an area supervisor. I found myself in a place where I was trying to make big changes in a business, but I didn’t know the theory. So I started looking for answers.
