I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Scaling microservices
At the end of Chapter 7, Scale Microservices with Spring Cloud Components, we discussed two options for scaling either using Spring Cloud components or dockerized microservices using Mesos and Marathon. In Chapter 7, Scale Microservices with Spring Cloud Components, you learned how to scale the Spring Boot microservices using the Spring Cloud components.
The two key concepts of Spring Cloud that we have implemented are self-registration and self-discovery. These two capabilities enable automated microservices deployments.
