So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Value driven planning
Value driven planning is a term used in agile development practices. Value driven planning is extremely important in the microservices development. In value driven planning, we will identify which microservices to develop. The most important aspect is to identify those requirements that have the highest value to the business and those that have the lowest risks. The MVP philosophy will be used when developing microservices from the ground-up. In the case of monolithic to microservices migration, we will use the guidelines provided in Chapter 6, Microservices Evolution – A Case Study, to identify which services have to be taken first.
