In this chapter, you will learn why participating in a mastermind group is like pushing the accelerator pedal and steering your way toward success. I will introduce you to what a mastermind group is, what it is not, and how to select group members who will help you to benefit the best from other people's knowledge, experience, and networks. You will also learn how to conduct your own mastermind group meetings. Mastermind Defined
In his must-read classic Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill described a mastermind group in this way: “The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony. No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible and intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind (the master mind).”1
