Chapter Eleven. Quality and Efficiency
The intent of this chapter is to now take a step beyond the basic processes involved in digital compositing and to start discussing how to apply all our tools to produce the highest-quality images in as efficient a manner as possible. In fact these two topics—quality and efficiency—are so co-dependent that it makes sense to discuss them together, in the same chapter.
Even though we are taking the time to devote an entire chapter to the topic, we hope that you have already noticed a number of quality and efficiency issues that were raised in earlier chapters of this book.
