I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Glossary
A&R: The initials stand for artist and repertoire. Commonly describes a job role at a record label, but is also part of the function of music publishers in assisting songwriters and artists to develop, and developing the skills to evaluate potential music industry talent.
Administration deal: A legal agreement between the copyright owner and an entity to administrate an individual song(s) or an entire catalogue for a negotiated period of time. The administrator can be a publisher or a qualified professional (lawyer, accountant).
