To make your characters come alive, it is important to understand their bone structure. Here are some basic anatomical concepts to help you get started.
A Piece of Advice
When you draw a character, imagine it as being transparent and draw the bones of its limbs to indicate the directions of movement. Pay attention to the proper position of the joints and don’t forget the ribcage, which gives the torso its volume.
