Stemmed glass, tumbler, flask, tankard, coffee mug… Grips will vary from one recipient to the next. Here are a few examples.
The form and/or the weight of a cup or mug will determine the grip. If the index finger goes through the handle, the cup will rest on the middle finger, but if it goes above or to the side, the thumb will steady it from the side.
