It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Technical Analysis
Technical analysis is not a study of the market; it is the study of price. Unlike fundamental analysis, it is the study of charts, not of economic conditions. Chart technicians examine their charts to look for reasons to enter and exit their trades based on past performance of price.
