When you’re working on the post-processing side of the following projects in Photoshop, you’ll notice that there are a number of steps that just keep coming up. Rather than have you re-read the same steps over and over, I figured we could talk about them now, let you know what they are, and focus on just playing with the image.

When you’re working with layer masks in Photoshop, it’s all about painting in black to hide an area and painting in white to show an area. Because you’re not always sure what color you have as your Foreground or Background color, I always do this:
