It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The Regulations indicate quite clearly in Part 7 the tests
required. Let us then take a closer look at some of them in order to
understand the reasoning behind them.
Continuity of ring
final
circuit conductors
Clearly, in order to function correctly, the conductors of a ring
final circuit must be continuous. However, a test with an ohm-
meter or a bell on the ends of the conductors, whilst indicating
continuity, may in fact be incorrect (Figure
42).
