I have a friend who says he will donate great sums of money once he becomes rich. Until then, he will hold on to his money, supposedly spending it wisely and saving some for a rainy day. I have another friend who barely has enough money, yet is always willing to help. She would consider going without a necessity if it meant someone else’s condition improved.

Like the second person, I believe ‘passing it on’ isn’t something to be done once you have ‘made it’. Rather it is something everyone should do from the beginning. You might have the impression that passing one’s insight on means doing something big, but being supportive of others ...
