The news of Cindy’s diagnosis is starting to sink in. Both of us get little sleep and wake up quite early in morning.
Our early morning spins around hugging, patting, and imaging yesterday’s hospital visit and some intermittent conversations.
The silence of the predawn hours makes me anxious in anticipation of what the future holds. I wake up early and heed to Sid’s advice and create a new Kanban board for key sessions, activities, and their preparations.
Given our conventional and hierarchical culture, I start with a restricted access of the board to Sid, myself, and my assistant. I could set up working sessions with scheduling help from Becky.
