I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It’s 9 p.m., and you’ve arrived at the hotel. The conference starts tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning. You have a note from the event producer asking you to visit the conference room at 7 a.m. Up to now you’ve been too busy to give your presentation a moment’s thought. Now there’s a sick feeling in your stomach, and the mini bar looks inviting.
I was once called to a client conference on rehearsal day and asked to offer tips to the speakers. There was one woman I could not help much.
